Kirk Herbstreit appeared on SportsCenter this morning to preview today’s slate of college football games. During his appearance on ESPN, he was asked about the College Football Playoff.A trio of preseason highly-ranked teams – Auburn, Michigan and Wisconsin – have all already suffered a loss this season.Which of those teams has the best chance to rebound and make a dark-horse run at the College Football Playoff?Herbstreit didn’t hesitate when answering.“I think it’s Wisconsin,” Herbstreit said. “I think they were sleeping last week (against BYU).”Wisconsin was a popular College Football Playoff pick before the season. The Badgers haven’t looked anything like a top 10 team during the season’s first three weeks, though.Herbstreit remains confident in Wisconsin’s chances moving forward.“I think Wisconsin still has the team and the schedule to make a run,” he told ESPN.Wisconsin has a major test to pass tonight. The Badgers are taking on Iowa at 8:30 p.m. E.T. The game will be televised on FOX.
