Lane is looking more at graduate transfers and junior-college kids.”Lane Kiffin didn’t take kindly to Fishbein’s statement, or the article from the Miami Herald. “Might want to write these articles after signing day not before,” Kiffin said on Twitter.Might want to write these articles after signing day not before. ?♂️??@MiamiHerald https://t.co/I9xilWknrT— Lane Kiffin (@Lane_Kiffin) February 6, 2019FAU currently owns the No. 67 recruiting class in the 2019 cycle, while FIU is 23 spots back at No. 90.Butch Davis and company out-recruited Lane Kiffin in 2018, bringing home the No. 68 class while the Owls landed the No. 75 class. However, as Kiffin said, the Miami Herald may have jumped the gun on saying FIU is out-recruiting FAU as a whole. The Owls have a significantly better class headed into the 2019 season, headlined by the sons of former NFL stars Terrell Owens and Warren Sapp.We can always rely on Kiffin for a solid quip in Twitter.
